Dirty Pusherman stands for Daniel Dumitrescu. We don't know where to begin and where to end in describing his
journey in this diverse electronic music scene, but we can surely say that during the years a lot has changed and
has been learned. As a kid he discovered the magic of the electronic sound by chance. A few Karma Club CDs & some
compilations got him hooked in exploring and learning more. Karma was one of the few places that began the
electronic music scene revolution in Romania. DJ-ing was a new thing for all of us and for him as well. Watching the
guys work the turntables and CDJs amazed him, no doubt. He wanted more. He meticulously studied the sets: the order
of the tracks, the mix ins and mix outs. Dirty Pusherman began experimenting with diverse mixing software, by which
he understood a lot on how to actually mix tracks. Around 2002 a new club emerged on the scene in his native city.
Oxygene Club will definitely capture his imagination and his eagerness to DJ. He was even lucky enough to actually
play on the gear when he pleased too. In 2006 he saw his dream come true, his birthday gift consisted of an entire
DJ setup, complete with 2 CDJ-1000MK3s and a great mixer to go along, the DJM-800. A perfectionist at heart, Dirty
Pusherman still practices his techniques on the CDJs, trying to learn to mix flawlessly. As a result, in 2007 he
wins 1st place out of the 5 DJs that participated at the DJ battle organized by Radio Prahova and the EXIT Club. No
limits as for what styles or substyles of music he approaches. Currently he's into very abstract, cold, obscure
tracks combined with deep, warm, melodic house grooves. The key word is contrast. When relaxing, he listens to
lounge, ambiental, etc. He is dynamically involved in the scene, working hard to bring quality music and parties to
every clubber out there. Played in: Baraka (Bucharest), Oxygene/Down Town (Ploiesti), Privilege (Ploiesti), Soviet
(Ploiesti) & other private parties. Played with: Cristi Cons, Dana Nicula, Fouchat, Flowrin, Narcissa, Onu, Pyuk,
Small & Vlad Caia.
